Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2025-KTS (4.0).

The Embassy of India, Khartoum is pleased to inform that the fourth edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS) will be held in Varanasi from 2nd to 15th December, 2025.

The previous three editions of KTS witnessed enthusiastic participation of more than 5,500 delegates from Tamil Nadu, representing diverse walks of life. Theme of 2025 is "Learn Tamil – Tamil Karkalam". This year’s focus will highlight the significance of learning the Tamil language. Special programmes will include Teaching Tamil to Hindi-speaking students in Varanasi, an Ayodhya Expedition from Tenkasi to Varanasi, showcasing the unique aspects of two great knowledge centres.

Around 1,500 delegates across seven categories – Students, Teachers, Writers, Farmers & Artisans, Professionals & Small Entrepreneurs, Women, and Researchers are expected to join. Additionally, batches of students from Uttar Pradesh/Varanasi will travel to Tamil Nadu for orientation sessions at CICT and further Tamil learning at designated colleges.

The Embassy of India, Khartoum encourages members of the Tamil community and friends of India in Sudan to take note of this significant cultural initiative and join in celebrating the timeless connect between Kashi and Tamil Nadu.
