Advisory
Sudan is witnessing mass protests and civil unrest in reaction to the military takeover yesterday. Hence, all Indian nationals in Sudan are hereby advised to stay indoors, avoid public places, crowds and military areas and all kinds of travel except in extreme emergencies. Telecom and Internet services are likely to remain disrupted. Khartoum Airport is also closed for indefinite period. Indians who are planning to visit Sudan may also put their visit on hold for time being.
2. Indian nationals in Sudan may contact 24/7 Embassy helpline for guidance in emergencies.
3. Local media may be monitored for updates.
